Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

SPECIAL DELIVERY!!!! From Wolfman Razors. I’m so stoked right now! I can’t wait to shave with this amazing beauty tonight. Here are the specs of my WR2: WR2-DC Blade Gaps SB 1.25 / SB 1.45 with a WRH7 Handle 98mm Oversized Hollow. Here are some pics I just took:

THAT is a great razor head on the best handle in the best finish. Congrats. We need a shave report.

Thank You LOOT .. I will post a more detailed Inaugural Shave Report with the WR2-Dc tomorrow. In short this was the best Shave EVER, I wasn’t even trying to chase a BBS, but The WR2 rewarded me with the most comfortable shave and closest as well (BBs+++) In short, this combination, 1.25/1.45, works really really really well for my face. It evaporates my trouble spots under the jaw line and against the grain, my most dreaded pass is a pleasure to do now. This WR2 is now my GOLD STANDARD. I cant stop touching my face, this Blade Holder is extremely efficient and brings the best out of the Wizamet. To me the WR2 is like the Michael Jordan of the Shaving World, ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF THE BEST (no doubt in my mind) Here is my SOTD pic:

Beautiful razor. Just curious, I do a lot of DC razors. I always use the OC on the WTG and the SB on the ATG. I guess because you're OC is 1.25 you might do it the other way round ?

Thank You JimmyH. Both sides 1.25 & 1.45 are in Straight Bar format. 1st pass— I used the 1.45 side on WTG pass. 2nd pass —I used the 1.25 side on XTG pass. 3rd pass — I used a combination of both 1.25/1.45 for ATG and touch ups. Everything worked flawlessly.

Mine arrived, it looks like I received the wrong order. I ordered a DC SB 1.05 / SB 1.25. Reaching out to Tara now to get it sorted!

The finishing is next level, and this is the basic polish.

What was the gap on the DC? States on side these days IIRC

For me, pretty much. I was using a test razor sent to me by a good friend but now I’m back to using the 1.55 SB Ti and the 1.55 SB SS in rotation.
