Reporting back re handle: In spite of advice on the 7xl, ended up going for 7/3 hybrid, alternatively a 7, in 90mm hollow. Have tried a couple longer handles and never took a fancy to them, not for looks nor in use. Hopefully I won’t be coming back to you saying I should have heeded your advice...

Now for the wait, with additional time for it to go via my aunt in NY.

As I await my name being called, Imma experiment a bit and maybe get back into the artisan handles thing.  I think I'll be getting this titanium handle from Stork to see how I get along with the general shape of the WRH7 + with the added benefit (for me) of lots of knurling.

Well ... some people here are gonna think I'm nuts ... that's debatable ... but ... if you can't get along with a WRH handle, and you have a drill press with a machinist's vise ... Don't hate me ... My modified WRH3 96mm. It may not be pretty, but it is great to shave with  Smile

Not something would endeavor BUT that was a nice job of it customizing.  Good on you!

I've always liked the those, of I could get one just a tad bit shorter.

Yep...at 95mm, it's about 5mm longer than the max I usually go for.
I ask Stork about the length and they would do a 90 mm. Nice!

Yeah, they are accommodating if you have the patience for them to shift CNC production.

To wit:  I had a running conversation with Stanislav of Stork via eBay messaging mid-January before & after purchasing their Falcon handle.  I merely inquired whether they'd ever re-stock the Hedgehog (a WRH1'esque homage that they made back in 2017, pic below) in 90mm 316L.  He said, "not likely 're-stock' but we can make for you in perhaps 2 or 3 months if you request it."  I never specifically requested, but then earlier tonight, he sent an eBay message saying they made a 90mm Hedgehog, and that they were listing it, but he wanted to give me a heads-up.  I went ahead an bought it.

Oh that's good to know , so if I asked them about the handle I had better clarify if I want them to make it or wait a bit. Thanks for this information. That's a nice looking handle, I'd think it matches up with a Wolfman good.

Looks exactly like the Razorock Super Knurl handle.

I put in another order and it'll probably be another year before it comes up but I think this time I'll try a milder version. The one I have now is a 1.45 OC and I have to pay a lot of attention because its fairly easy to get nicked.

Dang, it really does.  I know Stork was making theirs at least as early mid-2017 for sure as I was considering it at the time.  I've never owned a Razorock razor before, but I know they offer quality stuff at terrific prices.  My experience with Stork has always been terrific build/fit & finish, and admittedly, you pay for it.

To be clear, the Hedgehog they made was listed as normal; Stanislav made sure to tell me that it was first-come basis for buying it.  Not sure if they do private listings via eBay, but this certainly wasn't that. I just thought it was pretty cool they changed-up their planned production to make a one-off I asked about, then made the effort to contact me directly based on a conversation almost a month old.
