Edit: Prices on secondhand market.
I wouldn't be surprised if second hand SS wolfman prices also go up. At least in the past, there were ways to get one if you wanted one bad enough. That's not the case anymore. Now you have to be willing to potentially wait years.

I have received confirmation from James at Wolfman re: 9/6 order that a 'proceed with order' should be expected in the coming days this week,
No doubt this shall be the same advice or similar for other orders still waiting from 9/6 late evening......
It's getting close now..... Cool

I have to disagree,
There Are now more Used Wolfman razors available for sale at realistic prices than ever before,
Buyers now know they can simply get on the list and the order shall be fulfilled at retail price, not over inflated flipper prices.....

Yeah Maybe,
I for one shall be offering my 1.45 to someone who does not yet have one,
Personally I prefer 10 people to have a Wolfman then 1 man have ten,
Share the love is my perspective.... Cool

Thrown my order in the hopper some time ago.

May actually have a Wolfman someday, too.

The question is: what gap do I want, and although it’s not an easy question to answer, I could use some advice.

I like, and use, the Blackbird, CG Level 2, Timeless SB 0.68, Timeless Bronze SB, and the Paradigm 17-4.

I want mild...but efficient, and a bit of blade feel is ok with me.

I don’t want to screw up a long-awaited opportunity, and I doubt I’ll own a stable of Wolfmans...so, dis be it.

Recommendations?

BlackBird and CG level 2 are two of my top 4 razors, so I might be able to help a bit.

I have 1.25 SB and 1.15 SB, used 0.95 SB before. Forget about the 0.95. Now, 1.15 - I find a bit .... unimpressive. When I am done with my usual 3 passes, there is still some whiskers left. If I buff, I get some irritations. I would say 1.15 feels less aggressive than it actually is - which often leads to irritations for me, I fail to follow the feedback and stop. For me, it is less efficient than CG 2 and obviously BlackBird.

1.25 is much better in this aspect - the feedback, while not as pronounced as BlackBird, is more proportional to the aggressiveness of the razor. I get less irritation and closer shave with it than 1.15. I still prefer CG-2 over this one, but it is close. It is more efficient than CG-2 and less efficient than BlackBird for me.

One thing to note though, I did not like paradigm Ti-2 - it was deceptively aggressive. It was very hard for me to follow the feedback, opposite of BlackBird. So I guess, if you prefer Paradigm 17-4 over BlackBird, I would say go for 1.15. If you prefer BlackBird over 17-4, go for 1.25 or higher. Both for me (in 3 passes) are capable of daily shaving and mowing down 3/4 days growth.

Hey Henery!

I am settling on 1.15/145 Dual SB,

How are you getting along with your 1.05/155?

Loving it a lot. Basically almost all I use these day; not saying much since I am trying to sell almost all my razors. All I have left is a TI WR2 1.15, the WR2 1.05/1.55, RS-10, and Stealth Slant.

I have 3 more on the BST but cleaned them for the photos and trying not to use them as the cleaning was a hassle and still isn't perfect in my eyes. Rather not spend any more time cleaning them other then a very light washing and polishing if when bought.

However, I might lone out the razor soon, if the person responds as I would like to help people decide more accurately on their preferred Wolfman.
