Thank you for your input Shavemd. I also wondered if I went with a higher gap would I have anything stubble left to shave the next morning. I definitely like the feel and efficiency of an OC based on my Timeless experience but the overall consensus favors sb in WR2. So a sb it will be.

I want to thank everyone who has participated in the thread for providing guidance through their experiences.  I shave everyday with 3 passes (WTG, XTG & ATG) with either a Polsliver, Kai or Feather. My weapon of choice started with a Timeless SS DC 68 OC / SB then moved up to the 95 DC, which soon to became my daily driver, as I determined I needed more efficiency in some areas especially under my jaw.  I jumped on the same setups when the highly polished Timeless Ti became available and I like it very much. A few weeks ago I received a Carbon Shaving razor which I find is a bit more aggressive than the Timeless 95 which I attribute to a more blade forward design. So now I alternate happily between the two but still want more efficiency while keeping the smoothness. At first my goal was to get something more than the 68 but less than the 95 and the 1.05 gap seemed to be the recommended choice. After becoming very comfortable with the 95 and the Carbon I want still something a bit more so thinking either the 1.15 or 1.25. Please correct me if I am off base but the 1.15 would provide the same efficency as the 95's and the Carbon so thinking the 1.25 in sb would be the unicorn despite how you enablers have tempted me with the higher gaps or  even a wild combo like a 1.55 / 1.15 DC. Still questioning if the higher gaps would be too much for a daily driver. One more thing - I am not concerned about reducing my passes to two. I will let the shave determine how many passes are needed. I do prefer shaving everyday or on occasion, skipping a day. Not looking to mow down 4-5 days of growth with a single pass....
I would get at least a 1.25.

Same here, I got mine around 11pm. I can imagine production could benefit from processing slightly out of order; reducing changes to Cnc programs ect.
A jump from the 6th to the 9th is surprising to me. I would think a lot of orders came in 7-8th, once the word really spread. I’m also surprised the form is still open. Maybe it will just stay active?

Living on the edge
I can already see mutiny brewing among the 7-8ers.

There doesn't seem to be any downside for him to keep the list open indefinitely....since he is never going to reveal
a waitlist with names on it....that way, if anyone gets sick of waiting, they can buy something else or just get on with other things till
the invoice appears weeks,/months/years later.

In a email response from James when I asked if he could do some custom work on my razor for me this was his response.

Hi Frank

Perhaps in another year or so I'll be able to put this on the menu, but for now the lineup of customers is a mile long, so I need to keep the orders moving and not do any custom work.

Regards,
James

So I told him I totally understand and I’m happy just to get the razor. I’m thinking he must be working his tail off trying to keep up with all the orders coming in.

I may be way off base but It seems to me that the demand for Wolfman razors has increased 5 fold in the last year or so just based on this thread.

Tidying up the Den a bit today and snapped a Couple pics of my Ti and SS Wolfman Army. L-R in Titanium- WR2 1.15, 1.25, 1.35, and WR1 .80 OC and .86 SB. L-R in SS- WR2 1.35, WR1 .86 SB, .80 OC, .86 OC, WR2 1.15, 1.25, and BBS-1. No matter which Razor I grab I know I’m going to get a great Shave. I’d love to add a Darwin in Ti someday. We’ll see if Mr. Dufour will accommodate.

Thank you my Friend. I use and enjoy them all, but some of the ones I reach for most often are the 1.25’s in Ti and SS when I need to Shave for work three or more days in a row. The Ti 1.15 is perfect for Dome Shaves. I also really enjoy using the WR1 OC’s and really like the Darwin Handle (thanks for the recommendation on that). Special occasions I break out the SS bling, and I still love the Shaves I get from my BBS-1.
