I won't go to the 'extreme' of photographing my results, but I will try introducing some of your techniques into my routine.
Thanks for the kind words sir. Indeed my screen name reflects who I am as a person quite well. To be honest the origin of my screen name was because I wanted to offer an alternative to the subjective based grading for different soaps. I.E. this soap is 100 or this soap feels slicker then this one. My goal at the time was to launch a YouTube channel that did homegrown science experiment to display an actual quantitative value to every single soap property. At the end of the day I decided against it due to the time it would involve and also I debated about the value it would even bring.
There is a thread on this forum about hitting a wall and not being able to tell minute differences between soap and that was the fear I had at that time. Would one really care if a soap retained moisture properties 30% longer vs another or has a slightly lower friction co-efficient (meaning it is slicker). So I gave up on the idea sadly.
