I just came back from the post office to pick up the razor from that i sent on 9/6

WR2 1.25 OC WRH3 Regular 96mm in basic polished finish

The basic polish looks really good in the pictures.  I bought my WR1 before he distinguished polishing levels, so I have the mirror polish.  It will be interesting to compare the 2.  From what I can tell, it looks like the basic should make most people happy, especially considering the price difference.  

Please post your impressions of the OC.  I'm leaning towards OC, but I've read that the SB is smoother.  I typically find OCs smoother though, so I'm interested to hear more feedback on the OCs.

Im still testing the 1.05 SB but as soon as i finish with that one for sure i'll give my impression for both razors and how it compares to other razors

My order was processed in the beginning of September....and I just spoke to someone who's order was processed
on the last day of the month. After comparing some data, it seems that the monthly output hovers somewhere between
maybe 20-25 razors (this could vary a bit, depending on finishes requested).

If he has a cutoff of 300 orders before he closes the form, then he is being fairly accurate that it would take a year or more before
they are completed. It just depends where one is on that list.

This is going to be my daily razor so I was wondering how this configuration compares to my daily razors now. The Game changer 84 OC and the PAA Ascension. What I’m looking for is a more efficient shave without increasing the aagressiveness or risk getting weepers.

I shave daily, and I get closer, more comfortable shaves with GC 84 than WR-2 1.15 SB. I opted for 1.25 SB for my email-order, paid earlier this week and now patiently waiting for it.

A couple of months ago, I shimmed a 1.35Ti with one blade after I ran across a post discussing shims and/or steep angle shaving. It worked, but there is no way I'm going to cut the edges off razor blades for shims again, for several reasons. Totally personal.

Recently, someone across the street mentioned "credit card" shim. Plastic!...obviates all of my concerns regarding the process. So, one day I put a .66mm shim in a TiWR2 1.55 and it performed very well. Today, I put a .40mm in a SSWR1 .94OC. No nicks, no cuts, no scratches on my gear. It's crazy how close it cuts. I believe my assertion that the WR1 gets smoother with increased gap is confirmed.

I'm sold on shimming as a safe means of playing with the efficiency of either head. Plastic changes everything and they are simple to make. The .4mm shim came from packaging material for chocolate covered peanuts (don't judge me). I'll find the perfect materials to make shims of varying thicknesses and colors to keep handy. Then, I may re-evaluate the need for so many like heads, in different gaps. (3) shims of .2, .4, and .6mm thicknesses could turn a 115SB or 80OC into an adjustable that could outperform any unshimmed razor I have.

I'll have a set of feeler gauges delivered soon to play with to confirm final gaps. I get the math, but I'd like to confirm final gaps myself.

I like it!! So what did you do just took some calipers and started checking the plastic you can find, for the thickness? I've got a new set of cheap calipers just waiting for some plastic, lol. I could take my .74 OC WR1 and give it the old plastic shim bump up, yes!

maybe there is a market for Artisan Shims. Handcrafted, with care, perfectly blunted, metal shims for your high end razors.

Or........Beyond the shims........
Maybe there's a market for an adjustable Wolfman?
