Hello,
Thats good info to me, I like it. Is his handle solid or hollow? I'm guessing a solid TI handle.
Gentleman, Yes my Ti Handle is a solid WRH7. I forget the weight but I believe Tester28 is correct at 60g.
Thank you sir for that answer that's a nice weight, and I like those handles.

Edit: just weighed mine.
Top Cap:12gm
Plate: 24gm
Handle WRH7 Hollow: 40gm

So 76 gm....still 16 gm more than Ti.
Oh very good to know... I've got to be at work a couple of days but I'm going to go way some razors and handles just to put it into perspective. That's still a pretty nice wait in my opinion for it stainless razor and handle. And thank you too sir.

This question is aimed at users who have extensively used BOTH stainless and Ti in the SAME gap.
Preferably 1.25 and up. I know this has been touched upon, but it's buried somewhere I can't find.

If you were to put aside obvious differences between SS & Ti  like weight, face feel etc....

Would you say there is a difference in efficiency between the two razors (SS and Ti) even
though they share the same gap?.

My gut tells me Ti loses a couple of points to the SS. I've not run like gaps/different materials head to head, yet. I'll run my two 125s tomorrow and report back. This has been on my to-do list for a couple months.

I wanted to get this as close to Ti weight as possible so chose the WRH7 hollow... this razor should
weigh in at around 69-73gm. Blade gap looks more than generous to me.

LOVE the brushed satin finish...enough jibber jabber, here's the pix...

This jogs my memory a little, I do vaguely remember a couple of people mentioning that Ti felt just slightly less efficient than SS in the same gap.
Maybe it was perceived to be so because Ti felt a little softer on the face due to its light weight?

That's what makes me wonder if a solid bar 1.35 Ti might be closer to a 1.25 in SS.

Anyway, it will be great to have you run that comparison.

My TI94 on a solid 80mm WRH2 is the lightest razor I have and comes in at 60g.
