Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

So does this mean theW 94 is probably a more efficient shave than the wr2 1.45 or 1.55, but more Blade feel?

This is my understanding/presumption, but I will know better once I've received and field tested the 0.94.

I think you're going to like that one, and if the SB is smoother and more efficient then the CG lv3, You're in like Flint in a flintlock!

Please, can you list the dates below?
1) request and specifications of the razor on the google form -2) first answer - 3) second letter indicating that an invoice will arrive and, if desired, it is possible to modify the options - 4) date of the invoice

1. 9/6 just around 8pm central 9 pm east
2. i didn't receive my submitted order confirmation email
3. 9/17 in the morning email to accept or change razor specifications , reply within 30 min. the modifications of my order, another email confirming this modifications in the afternoon
4. 9/17 right after confirming the order invoice received and paid

Okay good this means I've got about 9 months for you to test that 94 open comb, before I have to make a decision.lol

To my face, no. The 94 is pretty close to a 135. Nothing I've used cuts like a 145 let alone a 155.

Fantastic! I figured since my lvl 3 is SB, if I get something comparable in a WR1 with an open comb I'd have my bases covered. Plus the OC always looks amazing.



To me the BB is probably closer to the 1.45, but the WR2 is deceivingly smooth so that may be skewing my impressions. I do think the BB has more blade exposure than the WR2.  I'm excited to give the WR1 another try (I had a 0.8 WR1 once) because I like the blade feel and exposure of the BB and the lvl 3.

*shocked face*  Oh now you absolutely must run the BB and 145 at the same time and give us a report!  So will I , I suppose, since I've not done it. Self-challenge accepted, tomorrows shave is set.  But, I'll start with my 125Ti because it's already dirty and my gut tells me the BB SB is closer to a 115 than a 125.  I think the smoothness of the 145Ti is deceiving, as you surmised.  Be interesting to hear your final thoughts.

Oh man, if the highest WR1 you've used is an 80, the 94OC is going to surprise you, I'd bet.  It should cut closer than an L3 but smoother...well, my 94SB does anyway.

I've got a WR1 .94 DC. I am still undecided as to whether I like it. I've shaved with it a few times with a few different blades, but need to try for awhile before I come to a conclusion. OTOH, from day one the 1.55 Ti WR2 SB was the best DE I've ever had the pleasure of shaving with.

A little different for me.....

1) order 09/06 just after 8pm est.
2) 09/06 immediate confirmation of google order
3) 20/09 JD confirmation of order receipt
4) still awaiting 3rd order confirmation/change/accept & Invoice,


Must be getting close for my order, however, many many orders have no doubt been submitted for the within 1 year delivery, No doubt the time gap between 3) & 4) will get bigger and bigger.
Hopefully as JD gets on top of the new system, and based on the pre order data, It could be possible for customers in future to receive an aproximate delivery schedule?
EG: if 5 razors a week are produced and 50 orders are recieved then a 10 week estimated delivery? 250 orders = 1 year? (Made up figures as example)

TBH I sent in my order 4 days after the initial announcement, figuring it might be months before my number came up. I'm very happy it is so quick. OTOH, if James is sending out invoices I cannot imagine he would do so until he is ready to proceed with the order. I don't think he would invoice if he wasn't going to get to the order directly. I could be wrong, I was wrong once before. 

Still waiting for 3rd email, hopefully soon   . So w/o surfing back through all the posts , what gap would be comparable to Timeless .095 ? New to the de world so not much to compare or relate to. So any input would be appreciated! Thanks

Congrats on the 94OC...that is exactly what I have on order. You won't be disappointed in the blade feel of the 94. The 94SB has plenty. OC should be a little more.

Hmmm this post has me rethinking my potential order. I love all this information.

As LOOT, as someone who enjoys the final results (but not shave) of the CG Level 3 and both the shave and results (but would like more efficiency) of BB SB, would you recommend the WR1 .94SB or the WR2 1.45? Perhaps you have a better suggestion, as I have not used a wolfman before. I really do appreciate the help.
