Is it worth getting a stand as well as a full razor? Does the stand scratch or indeed does the handle bottom get scratches from taking out and putting back in the stands?

I made this custom razor for LOOT a while back.

my view is, if you can handle a T95 daily, you can handle a 1.25 easy
Agreed. A 135 if the T95 leaves you wanting more.

I can use a Timeless 95 OC daily, but I was debating between a 105 & 115. I had a Karve F plate which is around 125, but I just sold it because it was just a little too much. It used to work for me, but my skin has been a little extra sensitive lately.

Ha! Send it on! I'm just going to tell you tho, those big gap WR2 aren't scary. You should try one. I bet you'd like a 135Ti....or you just wander in down the skrait road.

Nah. Honestly I didn’t really even care for the 1.25 of yours I tried. The way a DE blade feels versus a straight is like night and day. I’ll stick to my mid aggressive DE’s.

It seems that a lot of you have uber experience with the Wolfman.
I ordered the WR2 with 1.15 OC.
My usual razor is a Timeless SS .68 OC. It's smooth but not quite 'there'.
I had a Timeless .95 OC too, but it was too efficient (but still smooth).
Have I ordered the 'right' WR2?
Something in between the Timeless .68 OC, and the .95 OC would be good.
Should I be looking at the WR2 .95 OC, or the WR2 1.05 OC instead (or the SB versions)?
I like OC razors, but will look at SB if that will be the better 'fit' for me.
As an example, my other razors are Gillette SA LH (set on 6 - 7 normally), Gillette NEW SC, Fatip Piccolo.
Piccolo is great (it's version 2), very smooth and close shave...and It would really do all I want but...crappy QC, and it's not a Wolfman!
NEW SC is also great...it also could be the only razor I ever need.
But, like others have discovered, a Wolfman is not to be sneezed at when it comes to fit/finish and shaving.
Thanks for your learned advice guys.

Based on your comps I would go with a 1.05 personally. The timeless 68 and new sc are mild razors and I would not call the 1.15 mild. Smooth yes, but not mild like those 2.

Thanks Kehole . I am looking for something not quite as mild as I have already.
If I go with the 1.05 will that be a notch above what I have now?
I just need a wee bit more efficiency (closer but smooth too).
I don't want to just duplicate the shave I have now but with a different razor.
What's your thoughts re SB or OC?

Quick question,

Would a wr2 1.05 be more or less efficient than the BB?

Any head to head comparisons to the mighty Blackbird?

115ish WR2...80 WR1. I don't think it's quite a 125. 115 is smoother with much less blade feel.

Here's my 10 cents worth....

Absolutely split so it had to be a coin toss...
1-Tails

I then did best of three i'm so split...

2-Heads
3-Tails

Tails it is.

Wr2 DC 1.15sb 1.25oc
