Titanium. I believe the owner said it is the standard 'brushed satin' finish. It is quite similar, if not the same as my WR2 SS in brushed satin. Ti on the left, SS on the right. [Image: 4nLbyfn.jpg]

Sometimes his other blade gaps don't get that much press.
Had an epic shave just now, on a rough 48 hr growth, with a WR1 86 side and a once-used Pol Silver.
Found the angle easy enough and got a nice suction effect on the first WTG pass.
Going upwards ATG was super smooth too. Finished off with a X pass across the neck area
and voila...a super close BBS with no stingers...while the razor gets a lot of credit, so does the Pol.

I was thing the same thing, just yesterday. so, I pulled out an 86OC this morning and was immediately reminded what a great shaver it is. I'm planning a couple of months of WR1 time. The WR2 has occupied the vast majority of my shave time since Nov 18. When the 94OC gets here, it's gonna happen.

Wr2 History & time travel...

I wound back time to the beginning of this Wr2 thread,
History:
I have today read hours of past posts to re check perspective about blade gaps & initial comparisons with other razors, written back in the day when Wr2 was the new kid on the block...
After a reality check based on all the previous posts and an honest admission to myself as to why I have kept the few certain razors in the Den and parted with the many, I have concluded it prudent to upgrade my incoming order to a DC 1.15 sb/ 1.25 oc, As I tend to hang onto the more agressive razors but never keep anything if a little too mild....

I think it would be great to hear Wr2 Owners comparative opinions based on their own starting point of Wr2 ownership & where their individual views have settled since the evolution of the Wr2 as blade gaps Seam to be ever increasing?

Oh.....& the time travel.....Im already reporting from the future being 8hrs ahead of Canada Smile

Oh man, what a SOTD! Top shelf gear all around. Beautiful handle, too. I could see myself liking that razor, if the OC side it muted a little bit by the Ti.

Is the 3/7 hybrid handle available as a 90mm variant? Or is it only available in the slightly longer length of the standard 3?
