Another shave with the WR2 SB 1.55 today. This with a new Gillette Swede. I wouldn't have shaved until tomorrow morning before church, and the stubble was more on the neck than one the cheeks, but I wanted to see if I can get away, shaving daily, without irritation. Happy to say it was a smooth, effortless, irritation free shave doing my usual 2 pass WTG/ATG. Guarantee if I get the email a 1.55 is my next WR2.

so as things stand, this could be a daily driver for your needs?

got my second google notice yesterday. I already have a WR2 1.15 SB. Was thinking about getting a 1.05 as a daily driver. Are guys finding a significant difference between the 1.15 & 1.05? Would OC or SB make a difference?

The 1.15 is too much to use daily? What other razors do you enjoy? What blades do you run?

Love how different we all are...I am giving serious thought to getting a 1.25 SB as a daily driver.

Waiting for my email and considering which to go with. Based on what I’ve read, I’m really considering the 1.45 or 1.55. I usually shave every 48 hours, but sometimes it turns into 72 or more.

As for razors I’ve enjoyed, I’ve cleaned out the den to my Blackbird SB (would love to try an OC as I feel like I could use the extra efficiency) and my Fatip Grande (more of a travel razor). I’ve sold off other razors like my charcoal Goods (lv2 and 3) and my RS-10. The Blackbird is just the sweet spot for me for daily or every 48 hours, but I’m interested in trying a wolf and something that’ll give me a super close shave like my CG lvl 3 did but without the harshness.

Any opinions are welcome.

For me the difference in efficiency is barely noticeable and the 1.05 is a more comfortable shave. It’s a win win for me.

Maybe I will try something different from the WR2 1.15 and try a WR1 OC .67

Nice curveball thrown in there Smile

Why not the 0.67?

Hopefully members with the experience of Wr1 vs Wr2 can enlighten further on this dilemma.....

I shave everyday with either a Timeless .95 or the Game Changer .86. I email/ordered a Wolfman WR2 1.25. Was this a wise choice, or should I have opted for the 1.15?
