Ok everyone, I'm wanting to throw out thoughts for which WR2 head to go for...

My current favourite razor is the Karve SS with a C plate, although i also use the D plate but not daily.

Hit me with your thoughts if you have tried the Karve razor and can compare the feeling to a specific WR2 gap.

I wouldn’t go over 1.05 if I was you. I use the D plate daily when traveling without issue and use a 1.05 daily at home although my new straight razor habit is putting a damper on that.

I prefer the wr2 in ti for certain. The Karve is the second most favorite DE of mine and if they ever make a ti I will be a happy camper. It’s what I bring on the road when I don’t want to worry about bringing a ti wolfman with me. The D might be a hair more aggressive but not by much. I’d say they’re very similar.

Came across a SOTD pic with this razor tagged as a WR2 1.25 OC
Head looks scalloped? I didn't know this was an accepted 
modification? Wouldn't want to request it but curious nonetheless.
I had a scalloped Timeless head once, and was baffled as to what the
benefit of it was apart from the distinctive looks.

Is that a shorty 70mm Handle? Must be a little fella selling it.

The handle is 80mm. The razor is not for sale at this very moment, but may be eventually. Currently adjusting to a new 1.45mm WR2 in Ti and very much enjoying it

THIS is exactly the information i wanted to hear!!
If the D is slightly more aggressive, the 1.05 would be between the C and D plates, so voila - i have my answer.

Now i'm tossing and turning on which finish to get. Maybe the brushed (satin) or the polished basic, but i'm in 2 minds....
