You know that goes for any of us at any age. And it makes me wonder, our relatives going to know what are razors are worth? Especially the very expensive ones,  Lol.

I’ve gone longer between landing other Wolfmans from his site by random luck...so as long as I know he received the order and will get to me I think it’s great. Once the kinks get ironed out people will be able to go from being upset about the process to the fun of anticipation. The time waiting can be spent trying different configurations and reading up on pros and cons from peoples’ reviews. Those in for the thrill of the hunt with those cat like reflexes will still get their shots at nabbing one too it’s sounds like. Nothing but positive news for craftsmanship well worth the wait.
Plus, a year wait allows someone time to save up for the razor  Smile.  A base model is around $300 USD, right????  That's $25/mo or approximately $0.84/day.

I guess if he approves the form he will invoice you up front. Then you wait for the year. Or how would it works

Truth is, no one knows what he's planning, but him...suggest you keep an eye on the email orders page as he said he would be
publishing updates there.

There’s actually a good amount of info up:
“Sept 9 2019 Update: Most orders submitted will be fulfilled (multiples not permitted), but this will take approximately one year. Production planning is currently in progress, and updates will appear here in the coming days.

Notes:

- The purpose of this order form is to avoid missed/buried email requests, and to improve the ordering process. Details from the form go to a spreadsheet automatically.

- The details submitted are to be considered as reference only. Customers will be contacted and the details will be confirmed before the order is made. Changes can still be made at that time.

- Once the new system (Google forms / sheets / docs) is set up properly, emails will be sent out with a summary of the order and a time estimate for when to expect the order to be made. (Please email if you are an expert with these Google products and would like to help with technical issues)

- Limit of one order per customer until further notice. For those wanting a second order, please wait until you have received your first order before submitting again.

- During the process of fulfilling these orders, the website may also occasionally be stocked with limited quantities.

More updates to follow.”

I'm guessing he will let people who've submitted their email form know they are in the queue, and he won't invoice them until their order is ready to be made. Having a customer paying and then waiting up to a year doesn't sound like something James would ask.

Ok everyone, I'm wanting to throw out thoughts for which WR2 head to go for...

My current favourite razor is the Karve SS with a C plate, although i also use the D plate but not daily.

Hit me with your thoughts if you have tried the Karve razor and can compare the feeling to a specific WR2 gap.

The most Popular It seems is the SB 1.15, It's what I chose for my One and Only Wolfman, and so far I'm totally happy with my choice.

Many Here are in favor of Extra Ordinary Gaps, Custom Even Above 1.25... Going Up to even 1.45.

The 1.15 gives me my closest Shave, and I do have a Timless OC & SB .95. YMMV... But look at it this way, if you find it's not Aggressive enough it will be easy to sell seeing it's Popularity!

Good Luck!

Tony
