My current favourite razor is the Karve SS with a C plate, although i also use the D plate but not daily.
Hit me with your thoughts if you have tried the Karve razor and can compare the feeling to a specific WR2 gap.

Came across a SOTD pic with this razor tagged as a WR2 1.25 OC
Head looks scalloped? I didn't know this was an accepted
modification? Wouldn't want to request it but curious nonetheless.
I had a scalloped Timeless head once, and was baffled as to what the
benefit of it was apart from the distinctive looks.

Darwin...it was also the first wolfman handle I ever ordered and I love it. I would love to get a WR1/Darwin in antique bronze someday. It doesn’t look as grippy as it actually is.
Scalloped cap...I requested it on the basic polished head I got recently, thinking it would hide some of the texture. I was denied. If it is an option at all, I think it’s only an option on the premium finishes. I have seen scalloped caps on both OC and SB heads. The grooves are closer together on the SB heads.

A good Friend of mine told me that I needed to get the Darwin Handle if I had the opportunity. I was never interested in it before because it looked like it would be slippery in use to me. So glad my Friend recommended it to me, it’s one of my very favorite Handles. The grip is perfect in use, and very nimble. I also happen to love the looks of it with a WR1 Head, that’s a lot of shine. I would love to have one in Polished Bronze someday.

I wouldn’t go over 1.05 if I was you. I use the D plate daily when traveling without issue and use a 1.05 daily at home although my new straight razor habit is putting a damper on that.

Hi one and all,
I have been reading this forum for some time and thought it was about time I joined.
I have also filled an email order form for a Wr2 and shall be waiting patiently after trying to snag a new Wolfy for some years. Got one to the basket in the last drop but no completetion.
I would certainly like the Wolfy pictured, is it available?...
