I agree.  I don't think there's much risk that everyone's legit Wolfman razors will lose their value overnight.  I've got a WR1 and I'd consider buying another Wolfman but my days of chasing after the latest "game changing" razor are over.  Hope no longer triumphs over experience .  At least for now.

Those of us who already own (plan on buying) Wolfmans realize that you would not be the target market, right? I thought that went without saying.

All I’m saying is that I am surprised that no one has jumped on this train yet.

I haven't scored a WR2 yet, but from what I understand the 1.25 is equivalent to a WR1 .86. Have you shaved with an adjustable, a fatboy or a slim ? Perhaps if you like the larger gaps you can get an idea from what you're used to now. I don't shave every day and a WR1 .86 works for me every other day.

Just my opinion, the SS 125OC is a little rough. Blade feel is cranked up and, on my face, there is no difference in efficiency between the SS125SB and the OC side of a DC head. The SS125OC is the only head I don't like.

I am not a fan of DC heads for silly reasons. However, I bought them to try, for research purposes nonetheless. I sent my 125DC to several guys to get their feedback...the OC was 50/50. It's truly a love/hate thing.

OP Kehole Sean never gave me feedback as promised *insert eye roll* but based on what little I know of him, the 125OC is a no-go. Maybe he will chime in.

I have an 80OC that I love. I had the 86OC and liked it, but other than increased blade feel, I see no advantage in OC, in either head. Totally a personal thing.

The SS125OC will produce in 2 passes (less if you have an easy beard map), essentially the same result as the SS145SB. The difference is face feel while doing it...and how long the perfect BBS will last. I could run the 145SB every day with 1 pass.

I know I didn't answer your specific question. But maybe it helps. Unfortunately, for you, when talking 1.45SB, I'm your only source of feedback. Sucks. I know at least 1 more being made now. Maybe in a couple weeks more will hit the streets. Fingers crossed.

I think the wr2 OC is largely not needed, at least for me as a daily shaver.

The 1.25 DC was only really usable on the SB side for me. The OC was rough for me. The Sb side was still very smooth.

I actually like the wr1 OC head quite a bit but for whatever reason the wr2 oc wasn’t great for me. Maybe if I tried it in a lower gap I would feel different. That’s always possible.

I agree with Loot about the OC on the WR2. I had a 1.25 OC/ 1.35 SB and the solid bar side was smoother and slightly more efficient. On the WR1 I do like the OC side for a first pass both in my .74 and .94 DC.

To me, the increased blade feel on the WR1 OC is not as dramatic as it is on the WR2. However, the WR2's teeth feel smoother and less pokey than the teeth on the WR1 OC. Pick your poison.

What occurred to me the other day ... we count how many of us got in on the most recent drop, as if we are the only ones in contention. There are surely many others, who are not on this forum who are also grabbing the brass ring, and we have to wait for those to get their's as well, until the next go round. Keeping my fingers crossed.
