Agreed...the first video makes it look as if the surface has some sort of haze marks on it, like
a used razor.
It must be noted that he doesn't call it basic/polished but basic/textured
well, it has texture for sure.
Let's hope basic/matte looks better.

Respectfully, I feel you may be over-reacting, unless, perhaps, you shave outside at noon
Some pictures of the standard polish on a WRH2, the mirror polish on a WRH3, and an RS-10:
Just my humble opinion...
Have you polished your RS-10 yourself? I am asking because my RS-10 has logo on top cap and there is huge difference between polished Wolfman and this RS-10. Thanks.

Now I understand the very high gaps ordered here (1.25, 1.35, 1.45). No many consecutive shaving days. This all explains.
Standard polish seems to be in the same league of Paradigm, Blackbird, Raw Shaving. Thanks IanG153

Yep. That’s a big difference. If I shaved every 2-3 days I could likely use and enjoy the 1.25

If I only had one razor, it would be the 115. No question. But as noted, I don't shave every day. If I shave 3 times a week, it's a rarity. Every 3 or 4 days is more typical. Sometimes its 7+ and while I think a 115 would manage...a 135 or 145 is a much better tool. On the odd chance I shave again tomorrow, the 115 or WR1 80OC would be the tool of choice.
It's a simple matter of shave frequency and preference. No right or wrong answers here.

I have to Shave Everyday, or I get irritation... Course Beard, but sensitive Skin... Game Changer .84 works for me... Timeless .68 too mild & .95 too aggressive for Everyday... So I'm hoping the 1.15 SB was the Right Choice...

I have found I’m the same way. If I get some irritation and take a day off to mellow my skin out, I get ingrowns lol. Can’t win. Well I guess I do...I get to shave every day. My dad is the same way. Shaves every day or else his neck gets wrecked. As long as I’ve known the man....every. Day.
