Tony - I am in the same boat as you. The consensus from many of our experienced and generous brethren when I asked point to the 1.05 for daily use. Many also love and prefer the 1.15. You always could go DC but it appears that the general feeling is that the the oc is not so favored due to feel despite the logic of having a more aggressive option for the first pass (which Ido with my Timeless) or when not shaving daily. Once again ymmv and we won’t know until we are fortunate to secure one. Good hunting to both of us.

Not only that, but the design of the WR-2 seems to have cancelled out logical comparisons between blade gaps on the WR-1, and other brands. I've shaved with WR-1 in .61, .74, and .86, but that is not indicative of what a .95 would be like in a WR-2. I hear from some, like myself, who like aggressive razors, to go 1.25, or even 1.35 !

I'm leery of trying that wide a gap.

Looks like I was wrong, a full mirror polished SS razor is now $563 USD!!!!
That's a huge jump from the previous $375
Polishing the head is $200 CAD and the handle is $150 CAD
