Have owned and used WR1 razors in gaps from 0,48 thru 0,74 inclusive in both SB and OC so basing purchases on experience of what works for my skin and technique as opposed to James' advice. Being a nonhobbyist simply seeking the best shave for technique employed (or deficiencies thereof), skin type and physical disfigurements, have no compunction retaining only what works and will be used on a regular basis - odd given that have a predilection to hoarding in other elements of life, a less than admirable character trait.

The WR1 0,74 SS was used on multiple occasions with disastrous results - terrible irritation that persisted for days and much lingering pain; needless to say it was sold to a friend in short order (and reportedly is doing well in its new home). The 0,48 was just too mild, similar to a Feather or 0,68 Timeless SS. Settled on 0,54 DCSS for daily shaving, 0,61 DCSS for skipped days or days 4-5 of blade usage and 0,67 DCSS for 3+ days beard growth or days 5-8 of blade usage. While possessing a BBS-1 it definitely competes with 0,67 as a 3+ day beard growth shaver, Currently debating whether to sell the 0,67 as redundant (vis-à-vis the BBS-1) but tough to pull the trigger.

You are correct in my success using the Timeless 0,95OC as a daily or near daily razor but suspect that is indicative of there being more at play than absolute gap as the key criteria inter design (as could even be stated of the duFour razors where a 1,05 gap BBS-1 is roughly equivalent of a WR1 0,67 and the WR2 0,95 roughly the equivalent of a WR1 0,54/0,61 at least from my experience).

Came from straight razor where could shave daily without issues but just too time consuming.

A month or 2 ago I started selling razors off, now we are at the place where the only razors I intend on keeping are the 2 ti wr2’s and a couple razors to travel. My RAD is cured.

What's engraved on the base plate? Looks cool. Is it 22 Ti?

Oh man is that purty, Sean. Congrats.

I won't get my collection down to 2 razors but 3 JD head configurations and a Blackbird is all I plan on having for a while, in moderns. I gotta admit that stinking Janus would look great hanging next top the 2 Toggles I kept. Still on that fence.

Has he said how much the Janus is going to retail for? I know the kickstarter is starting at $500.
