Excellent review! If you decide at a certain point to sell a WR2( any gap / material ), I'm here! Big Grin Big Grin

There is no wait list. James randomly sells preorders on his site, the "Sold Out" will just randomly disappear and you can actually put a razor in your cart and check out. Then James builds your razor to your specifications. It's that simple. The hard part is he only takes orders once every 4 or 5 weeks. I totally agree with you, there are some outstanding readily available alternatives on the market. A lot of them are outstanding and arguably shave just as well as a Wolfman. It's a great time to be a DE consumer my friend.

Is it just me or is the WR1 way sexier than the WR2 head?

Excellent review James, I look forward to your comparison of the two 1.25 razors. As you know, for me, as my Wolfman razors have increased by a couple my total collection has dropped considerabley.

Same here. I could never get as good a shave from the three BBS-1 s I used to own as I could get from my WR1 heads. As a result I am relieved that I do not have that urge to acquire a WR2...

Here’s my last post from social media that has some thoughts about the 1.05 vs 1.15:

SOTD

Grooming Dept pre
Ariana&Evans Khalifa Soap and Splash
Mozingo/Declaration B7
Wolfman Wr2 1.15

Great scent on this one. Just a slightly Smokey, incense and wood vibe with a hint of sweetness. Really neat scent. So my final take on 1.05 vs 1.15 is as such, as of today, cause I’ll likely change my mind in a week:

I’m hard pressed to notice much difference in face feel between the 2. The only time it’s fairly obvious is the atg pass in certain sensitive areas. Otherwise they’re very much the same on the face with the 1.15 have a slight edge in efficiency. So for now, I’m finding the 1.15 a better fit for me. But you better believe that both are staying put in my den.

Similar thoughts come to me regarding my WR2 0.95 and 1.15. I like both razors.
The difference in aggression between them is certainly felt.
It suits me.
For example, 4 times a week 0.95 and 3 times a week 1.15. Shaving turns out qualitative and very comfortable.

These are thoughts over time and as you master the razors.

I pulled out the WR2 1.15 DC tonight after using the WR1 .61 last night. Great 3 pass shave last night but tonight was one of those Nervana shaves 2 pass wife proven BBS that was one of those shaves you wish you could get every night.

Looking forward to trying one in the future but after getting BBS shaves(and I mean BBS) with multiple different razors that are readily available I probably won't pay the extra money it requires to get one immediately. Though having the 0.91 gap WR-1 and really enjoying it, I eventually do want to try the WR-2 in the max gap.
