wolfman pricing discussion

Wow, I just read this whole thread. I agree with the admin that all Wolfman threads need locked because this is ridiculous. In fact I think ALL bst thread needs locked. I have many hobbies and one of them in collecting fine luxury putters. These putters can sell from $500-$15,000+ and on that forum all bst are locked and to be honest it is a better forum because of that. Just .02, but I agree with the admin on this issue

First off, congrats on the sale, LOOT. I've got two Wolfman razors. I like one more than the other, but don't plan to sell either one. I paid less for the two of them than the going price for one. Both were bought directly from James. I'm happy for anyone who scores a Wolfman. Congrats to LOOT''s buyer!

That's all true but I feel it is still common courtesy to do so and then there's no reason for someone to attack the price if it's listed right in the ad.

Edit: Sorry not sure how to quote someone this forum layout is new to me.

The only problem I see...what if you have a shady seller and there's no way to warn unsuspecting buyers?

shoot the user a PM if you think they should be aware of something. we're talking high end, very expensive razors. I would hope someone does their due diligence before plopping down big money on a razor.

There is no perfect system. I prefer blocking the Wolfman thread from comments. It is the buyer's responsibility to do due diligence when making a purchase.

I think a good compromise would be if the seller lists the retail price atleast so that the buyer is informed. I've seen that in other WTS posts. I believe integrity ties into clear communication. Especially when it comes to an item that has a premium asking price.

this puts A LOT of burden on the moderation team to ensure that the rules are being followed.

we'll try it for the wolfman threads for now and see how it does. if broader restrictions need to be applied, we can certainly cross that bridge!

you should also state the finish on your razors. the one in this listing is the premium mirror polish.

Reardless, good move by Admin to lock these wolfman bst threads...the BBS-1 threads will still

nope.  it'll automatically lock wolfman threads from being commented on in the bst section.

This is the only way to get the trolls off of the BST threads.
