It's sad that you're all supporting and promoting this kind of thievery instead of working together to prevent the resale market from turning into what it is today. It's people like this that forced Wolfman to increwse prices in the first place.

how is it thievery if a willing buyer is fine with paying the $900 that the seller is asking?  is there any force involved?

You're confusing theft with robbery.

I'm not...both assume an unwilling transaction. if a buyer and seller mutually agree on a price, how is it theft or robbery?

Honestly, I think BST threads should be locked. Potential buyers can contact seller via pm. This incessant interference of someone's ad is getting old.

There is always a drama of something or other when a Wolfman is discussed.  Why there is a concern about the price.  Let someone list them fir a million dollars or more.  It will sell or not sell depending on the market.

I agree it's silly, but it became necessary because people always find a way to drag down a bst thread, especially when wolfman stuff is being sold.

there’s a difference... in some culture it’s a part of their culture to price a product high and negotiate the price down, as they know the buyer in their culture won’t want to pay full price, they want to wheel and deal. In NA we price things more fairly, close to or at the value of the product so there’s less room to negotiate.

In sales in the Whitey part of NA if you over price a product the consumer doesn’t buy it, if you price it right it’ll sell fast and possibly with multi offers/buyers. A great example is real estate in NA over priced homes simply don’t sell, yet the same home across the street of the over priced home is priced right and sells. It’s just two different cultures.

I think the reason for the rule, as I see it, is to avoid people denigrating a seller, or his offering.

For instance, a guy might put up a Feather AS-D2 and if I was honest I would say it is a piece of junk. 

A study in frustration to shave with. Totally inefficient and not very attractive, compared to a Wolfman, or a Timeless. In saying that I'd pass a lie detector test ... it is my experience.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of guys that think it is a great razor, and the poor seller is feeling like I'm stepping on his sale.

So like my dear departed mother told me, 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all !'

As for arguing over prices ... the rule doesn't say you cannot do it ... it says do it privately. Take it to PM. 

This again, so someone doesn't poison the offering in the potential buyer's mind. 

Name calling, thief, huckster, and that sort of thing should be immediately removed and the author of the accusatory post warned, and if he continues to post such tripe he should be temp banned.

A beautiful razor at a very fair price by one of the shaving forums most knowledgeable and generous members.  

I use the WR2 1.15 SB as a daily razor and it is so perfect for me that I am now on a shave purchasing sabbatical for the year 2020.  Buy with confidence knowing it is the finest razor money can buy.
