I wouldn’t call that flipping in my book. Besides unless someone is holding a gun to your head you don’t have to buy it.
Nice offer James on an excellent Wolfman set.
Actually the wait time is not too bad. Maybe 3 months or so to get a Wolfman using his google form. It is a very fair system now. Order the polished basic finish - it is fabulous. Just go to his website for the order form. GLWTS.

are you sure it’s only a 3 month wait? James just finished all the orders that came in for September 6!!! It took almost 4 months to get through the orders that came in for 1 day, there’s been almost 4 months of other new orders that have came in that he had to hire staff to look over the emails...

I do agree the new system is great and fair, but if I had to guess, I would think it’s at least a years wait if you get in now.

Check your numbers before you make a fool of yourself (too late). And...as per forum rules...if you've a problem with the price...take it to PM.
Pardon me, a $265 markup for your hard earned time to post this ad.

(Neutral pricing comment incoming, for no one in particular...)

The current price for a mirror polished Wolfman (head and handle) is 750 CAD, and for a mirror polished WRA1 stand it is 225 CAD. Keep in mind his prices are in Canadian dollars (people sometimes conveniently forget that). $975 CAD is $750 USD.

Pure nonsense post designed only to mess with a sale.
A flipper is someone who buys something with no intention of using it, just to
make a profit. This does not describe the OP at all. I've noticed more
and more of this kind of behaviour from guys who aren't really buyers, but just pissed
that the seller isn't selling an item at a price THEY approve of.

Sorry, in the real world, sellers set the price, if you cannot afford it or are outraged, move
on without kicking up a fuss. Personally I think he's priced it a tad low, considering the hoops
you have to jump through to get one. If you want to pay retail, get in the queue and hunker down
for a long wait.

The lack of having to wait several years.
Read the very hard to miss red writing at the top of the post.
That sacred red text is why you have a problem with flippers like this running rampant on this site.

If someone wants to pay $900 for a razor and get it within a few days, why do you care? If it's not for you, then move on. simple.

THE GIANT RED TEXT AT THE VERY TOP OF THE BST DOES HAVE MODERATION WEIGHT TO IT.

I'll start issuing temporary bans for people who can't keep negative pricing comments out of the BST on DFS. The rules were set up on the DFS BST to help mimic my love for the free market system - hence my signature.

For a rule to be effective it has to have teeth. A temp ban would certainly be appropriate, and had it been applied at the time of the original infraction would have held the noise level down. OTOH, it is good that members had a chance to voice their opinions in the ensuing discussion. Congratulations to the buyer and seller. One of the best razors in this wide world.

It's sad that you're all supporting and promoting this kind of thievery instead of working together to prevent the resale market from turning into what it is today. It's people like this that forced Wolfman to increwse prices in the first place.

I get where you are coming from, but you're fighting an uphill battle if that is your objective. This isn't the only place sellers can sell their wares. Plus, it's driven by supply AND demand. Like someone else said, if it is too expensive, just walk away. These aren't necessities ... to most of us anyway. Smile

Are you serious?  Supply and demand set the prices.  It took less than 24 hours for this gem to sell.  Your inappropriate name-calling is simply that.
