Love the pols and wizzies equally...like picking a favourite child..recipe for trouble.

However...a new player has entered the den.

Gillette Platinums....these babies take everything the aforementioned do....and move it to
the next level.

I've got part of a 100 tucks of Platinums, and Blues from maybe 5 years ago that I use every now and again. They're real good, wonder if the current production might be even better ?

My stash of platinums is quite old too...they have arabic print on the tucks.
And the Gillette address is stated as Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
I was lucky to snag 500 at the time. They are so good that Pols and Wizzies
could vanish and it wouldn't bother me.

Interesting. Checking my stash the Platinums, and the Blues were made in Petersberg Russia. I have 2 tucks of 100 each (blades) of Gillette Nacets that have Arabic writing on the tucks, and the slip cover, but I cannot ascertain where they were made. All good stuff.

I asked someone to translate the inscription...and it was the St Petersburg address in arabic.

I was able to buy a few tucks of Wizamets from The Razor Co.

I have polsilver blades that purchased in 2017 and they are significantly smoother and more forgiving than the 2019 or 2020 Wizamets that I tried. I didn’t like the Wizamets at all, they leave my face feeling hot and burning for hours.

How can an inanimate non-sentient object be "forgiving"?

Something that is forgiving allows you to make mistakes or allows for your weaknesses:
They flew back to a cooler and more forgiving climate.
This material is very forgiving and easy to sew.
