I use as a part of my daily routine - Dickensons is for most days and Thayer's when one of their scented varieties match a soap scent

I always use witch hazel (usually Wal-Mart or Target house brands) and apply my aftershave after that. Sometimes I add a few drops of essential oil to lightly scent the witch hazel which works great during the shave but without the scent lingering. This allows me to use an EdT of choice without conflict.
