Been using witch hazel for years now and I like that the scent fades immediately so it doesn't interfere if I want to use a scent. I've tried Thayers & Humphreys but honestly my favorite is standard drug store witch hazel that sells for a couple bucks per 16oz.

Dickinsons Witch Hazel for me. After every shave and then a splash of AS. When I was growing up, everyone had a bottle of it in the bathroom. Scrapes, bug bites, rashes, generally my Mom used it for everything. Smile I think that it doesn't smell as strong as I remember though.

I like the peach, too. Smile

I wish Barrister & Mann, Mickey Lee Soapworks, or Dapper Dragon would come out with a pure peach scented shaving soap and not a blend. I have Mickey Lee's La Belle du Sud which shows a ripe peach on its label.  I love the soap and I love the scent but it doesn't smell like peach to me.  Rather, it reminds me of my late mother's homemade cinnamon and sugar cookies. I also use witchhazel after every shave, right after a cold rinse and right before aftershave splash/balm application. I am partial to Thayers, have been using it for many years. Up until recently, I have been using the unscented, Rose and Lavender scents, then I found that my favorite local grocery store started carrying Thayers Medicated Superhazel, which contains camphor. It provided an extra boost at the end of the shave. So, now it is in the rotation as well!

Have you ever tried Thayers cucumber witch hazel. It's very refreshing, especially on a hot humid day.

I keep Thayers around as well but have not used the Super Medicated, despite the desire to try. Just forgot to be honest and usually just pick up whatever they have at the super market locally. Will have to check and see if they have the SM flavor as it sounds great!

I cut my aftershaves 50/50 with generic store brand witch hazel in flip top travel bottles. Lately I've been splashing it on straight after my shave just before I apply my aftershave balm.

Clayton, that is exactly what I do, though I use a cotton ball saturated with the witch hazel.
