Which soap or cream produces your favorite lather?

I just got in a sample of Scots Pine Sheep shaving soap made with mutton tallow. I can't wait to try it. I love the bath soap so I figured what the hell, why not try it. It's good to hear that it has great lather and post shave.

In the mutton tallow formula, I’ve used both Port-au-Prince and Glastonbury. Honestly just great soaps. The scents are a “hot/cold” type of deal on each of those, but the lathers … they are just a joy to shave with!

Current favorite lathers would be:
Non-tallow — Wickham Soap Co. (1912 formula)
Tallow — L&L Grooming (bison tallow formula)

In no particular order:

Soap Commander. Great lather. Easy to whip up.

XPEC. Very easy to lather. Very slick. Not worth the $ but still...

Reef Point. Touch the brush to the puck, swirl, see clouds of lather form.

Haslinger. Wonderful thick lather.

TOBS Grapefruit.

Stirling. Any of their non-lanolin soaps. For some reason the lanolin soaps don't lather as well for me.

Hands down for me: B&M

L&L, WK Donkey and Haslinger

First Canadian Shave Soap Co. Esther's Peppermint and Grapefruit,

Nivea Shaving Cream - Original, R.P. Williams Shaving Cream (unscented) Toronto.

They meet all my expectations and they smell good too.
