I would go with this and Saponificio Varesino, but in my bath soap order from Stirling I decided to fill one of my empty jars with Stirling Electric Sheep. It is made with mutton tallow and WOW this stuff is good. The scent is an arko type scent though, and I know that one might turn some folks off. It really does smell like lemon pledge lol. The lather and post shave feel is pretty amazing though.

Saponificio varensino. I've got the 70th anniversary soap and although the scent isn't in my top 3, it's an 11 out of 10 in terms of protection, performance, and post shave feel. It's an absolute pleasure to shave with

I just got in a sample of Scots Pine Sheep shaving soap made with mutton tallow. I can't wait to try it. I love the bath soap so I figured what the hell, why not try it. It's good to hear that it has great lather and post shave.

When the lather is just right, there is no soap slicker than mystic water for me. But many other great soaps out there too!

Pretty much this. There are a lot of soaps I love and that lather fantastically. If we are leaving aside scent for a moment, I would say Schafmilch builds as good a lather as any of them and builds it easier.

It seems we might have something in common. Smile

Truthfully, any good tallow soap, hydrated well, produces wonderfully dense lather, for me. Shy
