Same here. I have really taken to synthetics in the last few months and the Stirling will be the largest of them.

Same here I just like the way they feel & work & the thought that they will last. I might be able to pass it on to my son.

I used mine for the first time today. It's right up there with my Mühle XL. It's an outstanding value for sure.

Hi well I used my Stirling brush & this is a fantastic brush. It found it makes lathering easy & fast. It was soft on my face but not too soft. I liked it a lot its well worth the money, my only little gripe I mean little is the handle is a bit too big for me. Oh I must say compared to my Satin brush the Stirling has the edge but I find the Satin to have a more of a velvet feeling about it when I lather my face maybe its just me but I really like both brushes a lot.

I am currently switching between the Stirling and my EJ Silver Tip Badger to try to decide which I like best. What I've concluded is that I like both tremendously so I'll just keep switching it up everyday. I tried the smaller Stirling and because "Kong" seemed too big, but the smaller was too small.

I also tried the EJ Silver Tip Fibre and didn't care for it for some reason (it's for sale).

If synthetic brush is there different type of synthetic. Any advice would be grateful. Thanks have a great day.

Now that you have tried a couple synthetics I belive its time for you to try badger. I suggest you go for the Semogue Owners Club 2-band badger brush.

Hi captain_hx funny you mentioned about trying a badger brush, my brother gave me a EJ super badger brush to day. He was told its a one off and a prototype (he works in London has a lot of contacts), its handle is designed to look like a cork in a champagne bottle. Here is a picture.[Image: QjhX0hh.jpg][Image: KEPDPRf.jpg] I looked at the Semogue brush & its a lovely looking brush & a good price. Would you say  the Semogue is it better than a EJ badger.
