I'm kind of new here, but not new to wet shaving. My first Wolfman order came up and I've been trying to determine, like OP, what head to order. I am leaning towards the WR1 with the .94 gap, open comb, but I am also tempted by the WR2 1.65 gap OC. From what I gather the WR1 is a bit more maneuverable, which sounds nice. Any other thoughts from forum participants. I prefer very efficient/aggressive razors, if that wasn't clear.

For me the Timeless Ti OC 0.95 worked well and gave me an excellent clean shave quality, let call it Quality 1.
In wolfman I started with WR1 Sb 0.74 which was gentle and efficient shave, then I went to OC 0.86 which met my needs for the blade feel and gave me an excellent clean shave quality , let call it Quality 2.
From this point I felt that I need just a one step more of blade feel to be satisfied, so the OC 0.95 will be the gape that suits me well.
If I ask myself which aggressive gape gave the better shave quality 1 or 2?
I like the result of both and each of them has its own wonderful quality and character, which let me change technique and enjoy the taming process.
Regarding the WR2 I don't have enough experience, maybe some members will give you a better advice, but 1.65 oc is a big number.

On my face, a 94 is closer to a 135. The only things the 94 has over the 165 is head weight and maneuverability. Neither bother me. The 165 is the superior tool, for me.
