My current rotation is the WR2 1.15 SB and the WR1 .74 SB.  I find their efficiency to be comparable, but I do think the 1.15 wins out by a slight margin.  On the other hand, I like the nimbleness of the WR1.  I tend to shave six times per week and I typically swap out a blade after four shaves.  This means I'm using both razors each week.  My favorite between the two tends to be the one that I am using at the moment, yet I look forward to the next blade change as I tend to miss the one I'm not using.

Yesterday morning, running late for church, I did something I haven't done in 17 years ... one pass.

Loaded a 3rd use Kai blade in my WR2 1.55 SB and did one WTG pass and called it good ... and it really was good !

The 1.55 is just a magnificent gap !

That's really good to hear, especially, since I just placed an order today for a WR2-SB 1.25/1.55 to add to my collection.

Following up ... loaded the KAI (4th use) and did 1 pass ATG. This is what I did for probably 20 years with Gillette Good News, or Bic disposables.

So I lathered up with MDC and went for it. The shave is good enough.

I'll go back to my normal 2 passes WTG/ATG no doubt, but good to know the 1.55 is capable of an acceptable single pass, and my face/neck feel better as well.

0.74 SB is the most balanced gape, but I'm in love with the 0.86 Open Comb

I have the 0.74 in DC and love it. Smooth as silk. The 0.86 OC is very good but I have to focus more on my technique to avoid irritation. Much more blade feel as well. Close to my 0.94 DC. All great shaves, but the 0.74 can run on auto pilot and the results are as good. YMMV ...  Smile

How would you compare the .95 Razorock Lupo to the Wolfman it’s inspired by?

WR1 DC 0.94 is the plate I'm looking for and money is not the issue to buy it, brilliant gape, nothing compare to it.

I have 0.95 on RR Lupo It's a different animal, different head, less aggressive, don't know how to explain it but I can say the shave quality you will get from wolfman better wr2, but this gape on Timeless Ti open Comb much much better quality
