I thought you said someone was sending you some quite a bit ago ? I offered to send some and you said you had some coming if I'm not mistaken. If you need some, let me know  Happy2

Yes I was and apparently it got lost in the mail the gentleman that sent it messaged me a few times wondering if I got the samples but never did and don’t know where it went to. So at the time I think I was all set and didn’t want to deplete your stash but if you want to send a bit I’ll definitely start to work on it. If I remember correctly I think I have the scent notes somewhere which would also help.

Thanks my friend!

Edit - Going out in the mail tomorrow. looks dried out but the Scent is STRONG and amazing.

Life is looking pretty good!

Thank you Gentlemen, I truly love the iColoniali Scent and wish it lathered like Dragonsbeard Ethos F Base soap but enjoy it for what it is and while I can. The Amouage Sunshine Man pairs so well with it too and is a Beast for strength of scent. A little goes a long way. Have a great day Guys !

Dave in KY and TommyCarioca I said I’d give it a try as far as getting close to the scent but I still haven’t got samples of the shave soap or the aftershave which would also help me figure the scent out. I’m definitely willing to give it a go.
Like Dave, willing to send you what I have left! Let the 2 Ky boys know.

Machrie (Arran) sea flowers
Shave 4 ・ 107 g left ・ $10.00 / shave

Two thumbs up for this Machrie. Smells like heather on a beach, something you’d miss terribly if you had to leave it behind. The lather is vegan, so no animals suffered for my shave, and even my old hide got off scot-free thanks to the remarkably thick cream. Then came a palmful of Epsilon’s Scottish Spirit aftershave. It sent me straight to the highlands. A scent can do that – pick you up by the scruff of your nostalgia and drop you somewhere better.

Now, about my grand experiment: bathing my blade in alcohol after each scrape to forestall corrosion. Hopeless. Rust is already forming. Drat! A new approach is needed. I like the look of those cases some of you use to store your blades. They’re meant for fly-fishing lures. I think I’ll give one a try – anything to keep my blades from reacting to the salty air of my shack or the stainless steel of my razor.

They should solve your problem Bouki as the one I got is sealed and so air tight. Hope it helps !

A budget method would be to immediately clean and wipe down blade with microfibre cloth after shaving then place the dry blade in a small plastic case, regularly changing a dry silica desiccant pack (e.g., from U Line as much as hate the firm)
