Got a whiff of this one at the Chiseled Face store back when he was out here in California, I remember it was a really great scent and not happy with myself for passing on it. Reef Point in general had some really great scents.
Right now it has a no scent scent, it's about 7 years old but it lathers up like it's new.

Balkan Blend (black cherry lozenge/toffee) – Shannon's

Tub scent has grown on me.  Lather scent seems to go all-cherry.

Croap texture cuts down on bowl-lathering time.  Cushion and conditioning may be areas of underperformance if one prefers robust, substantial soaps.

Zino is a perfect autumn scent. Great pick!

How's the performance?

What did you find in the scent?

Sorry, I don't get the cherry at all. The scent does remind me of a pipe mixture. As a regular user of Shannon's products the performance is satisfactory. It's not as rich as Noble Otter or Zingari Man, but still cushions my face well.

Clay Face

Lavender Suprême (Ethos) stout lavender
Shave 7 ・ 166 g

This soap is part of Ethos’ Lisse Collection – perhaps the only one in the line so far. If Frank adds more, you can bet they’ll join my collection. Today’s shave was pure perfection.

So what does lisse mean? I had to look it up. Turns out it's French for “glassy smooth.” Apt description. That’s exactly how my face feels right now. It didn’t hurt that I added a few drops of hyaluronic acid to the lather, along with a touch of Koolada, for a bit of extra plump and chill. This shave has set a new standard – effortless, refreshing, and leaving me with skin that feels impeccably smooth. It’s the kind of result that keeps me coming back to Ethos, primed for whatever Frank dreams up next.
