Friday: Grooming Department Chypre d'ananas

This particular GD was my only missing early version of Mo's soap. I grabbed one per purchasing Coconut Fig from TRC. Never really seen saw frequent commentary or usage on this puck. Scent pyramid verbiage is always hard to interpret on any soap. I wasn't sure I would like it base on the scent pyramid description. Goodness, this is a top 5 GD soap for me [La Aventurra, NY Chypre, Cedarwood, Magnolia, and now Chypre d ananas]. I think Kairos was a great base. Easy to get a low profile slick lather. Yes, I try not  to buy new releases.... Would have missed a favorite. Exploration is fun right? [Image: b5cad8694a5e922f4b285c3d67cc5070.jpg][Image: 062c49d61effbeddf56bd8785287ce3f.jpg]

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Lost Souls (Ethos) pine trees & horse mint
Shave 8

This is my third consecutive day using Ethos soaps, and my skin is starting to feel great. Unlike other soaps that leave a thick layer of butters and fats after rinsing, Ethos leaves my skin feeling simply fresh and clean. I have fifteen jars of Frank's soaps and plan to rotate through all of them. I’m eager to see how my skin feels in a couple of weeks. If the results so far are any clue, I’m in for some seriously smooth skin.

Nice Strawberry Amber Fest TC !
Bluegrass. I had a problem. I went 7 years and couldn't find our buy even one. Then the floodgates opened. Got 2 on scratch and dent and a few more from Ken - he had a special sale about 4 years back. And then... I had Rudy Vey make me a Lotus in Strawberry Amber. I scratched that itch so hard I got scars .

Just got mine as well Bluegrass. I get no fig or coconut off the puck either. Not sure about what it smells like. I too will shave with it this weekend.

I have always puzzled over why Shannon’s doesn’t get more love.  It’s a great soap.
