In my neck of the woods we celebrate July 24th as “Pioneer Day” and my office wasn’t open. Well……my remote office was open but the HQ in Provo UT was not. That meant that I planned on a half-day with the cool first half pruning some backyard cherry trees. It’s a poor time to prune but I bought this property from a clan that didn’t know how to spell prune so it was overgrown but rife with possibilities. I’ve still got lots of work to do but I found some lilies in the jungle. Don’t know if the variegated dogwoods will make it but I love a challenge. A whole pickup load of branches came off this tree and that was after a spring haircut already! Darn things seem to be thinking “this guy waters and feeds us, let’s give him a show”! It’ll settle down after it doesn’t feel so threatened but it won’t be this year or next. Anyway, it’s hot in Idaho. Hot! Like Biscuit Basin Blowup hot! Heat and a fat guy means dehydration and my hat is crusty white on the brim this evening. I needed a shower and a shave and I chose a working man’s Scot’s Pine Sheep. All that sweating acted like a pre-soak I suppose because this was one excellent shave!

There’s a nice drop of menthol in this soap, not enough to give you the shakes, but enough to leave you feeling clean and refreshed on a warm summer day. Menthol may also help soothe any irritation or inflammation that might be brought on by close shaving or hot weather.
Other ingredients in this soap’s base that may help keep inflammation at bay are cannabis oil, Shea butter, vitamin E, sunflower oil, saffron extract, and limonene. So, although the lather’s light and not particularly thirsty, it’s kind to the skin.
Lipripper660, that cherry looks full and healthy, and your blue spruce is magnificent, but those poor dogwoods may have seen their day. At least the lilies will get some more sun. Nice lawn, too. I don't see any necrotic ring spot. Do you have bluegrass or is it mostly rye? And it looks like you're going to drop to a bone-chilling 67° tonight, and by Saturday evening you'll be pulling out the down parka (50°). Envious all around.

It’s about half and half blue/rye and this heat has it wanting dormancy. Spuds like it cooler at night than we are getting too.
