I have no idea about the quality of the soap, but I do like the name and label artwork.  Happy2

Koké (Abbate y La Mantia) pear & rhubarb

Dr Fulco Abbate, the brain behind Abbate y La Mantia, is a bit eccentric, and for that reason I love him and his soaps. The elaborate way he describes his products often makes me scratch my head. Here is his rhapsody on today’s soap: "In a world where daily routine often distances us from our truest essence, Koké by Abbate Y La Mantia emerges as a bridge towards a return to the origins. Inspired by the distant and pristine lands of Polynesia, loved and lived by painter Paul Gauguin, Koké is more than a shaving line: it is a ritual that speaks to your soul, inviting you to rediscover the primitive and pure beauty that resides within you."

Dr Abbate might have a way with words that leaves me muddled, but if shaving with his soap can truly uncover my soul’s primitive beauty, then by all means let me trade my namaste nest and thought safaris for a simple brush and razor.

A delicious shave on a smokin’ hot day.  Bouki’s killing his tub of Spitfire inspired my using mine tonight and what a wonderful shave it was.
now I’m at the cabin for the weekend. Reunion of my children and grands. 29 of us total.[Image: oxTCSrG.jpeg]
