Drat! Yesterday’s shave with Bergamotto irritated my skin. That’s not the first time that’s happened. I seem to be growing more and more sensitive to citrus oils. What’s worse, the higher the quality of the oil, the more likely I’ll show signs of welting. So in search of a little healing, today I went back to my cure-all base, Joserra. And I picked out Kilix, an old woody favorite that’s free of citrus. It smells of cedar and violets and goes very well with this week’s book, Mani: Travels in the Southern Peloponnese by Paddy Leigh Fermor.

Yesterday afternoon's shave:  I was hoping the citronella scent would keep the mosquitos away...it didn't





This afternoon's shave:  Only the 2nd time I've tried Gentleman's Nod.  The scent is very familiar and I know I either have or had the scent before, I just can't place it right now
