From The Woods (floral?) – Los Jabones de Joserra

The fresh florality of G Eàu – Parfums Belcam flows with this soap, I think, and as rose is cited as one of the Acqua di Gio florals, we may have a stealth Thuroseday entry.

It’s been almost two years since I last used this pot of soap. Its once soft base has turned firm, but it still creates the same wonderful lather as before. The fragrance hasn’t faded at all, with strong notes of citrus, birch, and cedar, and some light floral undertones. I added a few drops of Koolada for a cooling effect. That felt great, especially since a fever has been making me hot and dopey lately. Still feeling a bit out of it, today I foolishly took three passes. Very smooth now, but I’ll probably regret this close shave later.

A few years ago I read a post by a man who limited himself to nine passes per week. He said any more than that led to irritation. So if he gave himself a three-pass BBS on Sunday, he had to get by with one-pass shaves the rest of the week. Almost sounds reasonable.
