Fresco (Ethos) lime basil & mint
Shave 12

I love these Ethos soaps, especially in the summer when their genuine Italian citrus scents are so refreshing. Its clean fragrance of lime basil and mint perfectly suits these warm summer days. And a drop or two of Koolada adds a cool touch. Fresco is a soap I could use for months on end. Every shave feels like a brief escape to Sicily.

The Feather AS-D2 razor was a good purchase. I've turned to it often for its gentle efficiency. One pass generally cleans me up. It wasn't always that way, though. It took a long time to find the right angle. This razor demands that you ride the cap – I mean really ride it, like it was a Harley. Relax, lift the knurled grip high like it was an ape hanger handlebar, and then just let it glide. Otherwise, it won't cut any hair. At first I was giving myself three, even four passes, and that led to some irritation. But once I learned how to grip the razor, it became a joy to use.
