The olfactory elegance and sophistication he's creating (in a soap medium, of all things!) is pretty striking.

This is the latest offering from Tallow + Steel whose soaps I feel are entirely in the first rank of soap.  I often don't love their scents but the base is always superb.  I went for this because I like citrus-based scents and the idea of something listed as Lemon (40%) | Lime (37%) | Guaiacwood (5%) attracted me, as did the concept of something trying to capture 7-Ups freshness.  Used the soap twice it is all I could want.  A good summer's soap.

Finally got around to trying this one Nero.  The Sarsaparilla scent is fantastic...I pick up pine tar off the soap puck but the AS has more of a smokey finish to it.

BTW, I checked my spreadsheet and the last time I had used a T+S soap was in Feb 2020.  And that was the original Morocco...and if he ever releases the original Morocco scent again, I'll buy several backups! But until that day comes, Sarsaparilla is a great substitute to satisfy my pine tar/smokey itch
