Shave 12
After a dozen shaves, my brain bowl is sixteen grams heavier than it was when I first unwrapped it. As I scrape away at my chin, I ponder how a soap can gain weight. I haven't fed it anything tangible, just love and admiration. The soap seems normal, but it makes me wonder if it will eventually swallow my bathroom. For now, it’s just a quirky mystery. But as for tomorrow, who knows?

Southern Witchcrafts - Boonana
Once again, another spectacular shave with SW. Utter comfort throughout. The lather starts off looking velvety and it hugs right to the skin, both qualities very much remind me of the I Coloniali puck... but, it really shines when you keep adding water, so in that sense it is similar to B&M Omnibus.
For the scent, this is one of those complex scents that I like. In the tub, I definitely get the banana on top, but with a dark, rich base underneath, which makes it seem like the banana is just about to spoil (something SW would be proud of, mind you, especially for a Halloween scent... and don't worry, it is by no means repulsive, it is still gourmand). When face lathering, the base notes loosen up a bit more, and it almost gives it the smell of a banana split sundae with dark chocolate (so it's not very sweet)... then the florals start to barely make themselves noticed (but still mostly buried in the dirt). Later during the shave, the banana is completely gone and the dark tobacco comes to the fore. (Not a spring scent, FYI... )
Finished with some Derby City splash, and feeling great.
