What soap/cream did you use today?

Yo Sólo: Bernardo de Gálvan — Los Jabones de Joserra

A wonderful fougère hailing from a couple hours west of Madrid. All essential oils, and blended and presented beautifully in my favorite homemade base on the market right now. Similar enough to the Eufros fougère but blended a bit better in the Spanish Fern. Jose Martinez is leading the pack these days.

Ethos Lavender Suprême v1….still a huge fan of this initial soft version…

Noir (Joserra) Encre Noir

This is cypress and vetiver. In other words, this is Encre Noir. The cypress is bolder in this soap than it is in my bottle of cologne, but it still smells like a very convincing rendition of that classic vetiver fragrance. The soap is charcoal gray, but the lather is snowy white. It won’t stain your brush, not even if it’s a bleached boar. The only thing that surprises me is that a tub of this soap is actually more expensive than a new bottle of the juice.

Eufros Ylang Ylang

Hmmm, used to like it. Smells like artificial fish lures to me now. Great lather - weird accord.
