Arlington (D.R. Harris) citrus fougère
Shave 3
How have I let this beautiful hunk of soap sit unloved, unlathered for over a year? Arlington is a light fougère, heavy on the citrus, especially neroli. It smells clean and decent, but the scent won’t ride with you all day. So if you have a hankering to go in some other olfactory direction, don’t worry, Arlington won’t get in the way. But if you want to stick with the theme, a couple of spritzes of 4711 will do the trick.

This tub is Castle Forbes Cedar was a gift if I recall and it truly is a nice gift. It shaves well and smells of real cedar instead of perfumed cedar. It’s sharp and resinous and pretty dark actually and I like it about as well as any cedar scent I’ve happened on. I’ll use it up you bet but at $44 a tub vs Salters under $20 a tub, it won’t likely see a replacement. Do any of you have some intel I may be missing?

I used Jack Black's Supreme Cream today for the first time. It was OK. I was looking for a small tube cream to use when travelling and to face lather. I usually bowl lather, but don't want to take a bowl with me. Any other suggestions?
