Thanks, Tommy! I liked the Cella. I can’t say that I loved it. No real negatives…it’s just that I find the artisan soaps to be more enjoyable. I had a run, but now we’re done.

When it comes to the classics, one stands above the rest, and runs with today’s top dogs. That’s none other than tallow Tabac. But, you already know that.  Shy

I adore Dark Fall.  My wife hates the scent but as I sit here working in my home office I smell glorious.  Dark Fall smells like hot pinion resin to me and that is a glorious scent for sure.  The floppy brush there reminds me that Bouki and I think alike in that I too like a floppy brush.  I still use some over-stuffed badgers but most of the boney ones have hit the PIF trail.  I much prefer a reasonably stuffed knot of silvertip over a dense two band.  This L’Occitane brush was purchased perhaps a decade ago and was my eye-opener to what synthetics could do. I had an old Fuller nylon knot that was more similar to a vegetable washing brush than a shaving tool.  This brush changed the game and it still works magic today.  Sure, the knot is pretty homely but my favorite dog was homely too.
