Latha Le Petit Chypre (Barrister & Mann) raw chypre
Shave 21 ・ 75 g left

Spreadsheet says I’ve accumulated enough soap to keep me shaving until 2088. That's a lot of soap. Le Petit Chypre is my oldest surviving tub. I got it in the spring of 2016, just before I started posting here on DFS. Still smells fantastic, and the lather is every bit as fine as most of my other top-notch soaps. I was sad to see the Latha line discontinued, and I'll be crying a river of tears when my Petit Chypre is gone. I think it's one of the best smelling things Will ever made.

gone to Carolina in my mind
Harvest Sky is one of the MacDuffs soaps that works extremely well for me, meaning both topnotch lather and pleasing scent.  From the website:

Notes: Red Apple, Green Apple, Clove, Cardamom, Fig, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cedar, Oak, Vanilla, Patchouli
Harvest Sky is more than just a scent; it transports you to an orchard at its peak, where apples hang heavy on the trees, and the air is filled with the warmth of autumn spices.

My nose rarely picks out all the notes of soaps, but even so, when I whip up Harvest Sky lather, it's like 30 or so minutes of "Goodbye Carolina in my mind; hello Alberta".

And that works just fine for me.
