What soap/cream did you use today?

Fine arguably does dupes as well as anyone in the biz.  Their decision to no longer make the stellar hard pucks was a sad day for me.  Today was yet another disappointing try with Fine’s Italian Citrus soft soap replacement and although the soap smells fantastic, the lather is utterly lacking in both slickness and cushion.  I may as well been shaving with water which luckily I could get away with.  I’ve tried this soap with boar, badger, and synthetic, well watered and Saharan, heavily and lightly loaded and always the same result.  Perhaps it’s my rock hard water?  At any rate, I finished with a splash of Italian Citrus aftershave and was smiling again.  Life is too short and options too good to do any more fiddling with this jar anymore.

There's an awesome unscented soap that works great before all those favorite splashes.

Hoosier likes the Black Pepper……..I like the Vetiver!  The Vetiver in this one hangs around all day.  And the soap is always drama free.
