Sasco - a lemon GD soap!?  Where did you find her?  Good stuff? Like that base - lemon hard to get RIGHT [household cleaner accord danger]

AFS? Is it Turkish?

It's an exclusive with -->Paradigm Shaveware

This soap has a beautiful, soft lemon scent.  There's no household cleaner accord here.
Thx AF!

Grooming Department Pomp

Was on my evening stroll downtown last night. The Baptist church was hopping inside. Their stained glass is beautiful.

Eucris Cream (Geo. F. Trumper) oakmoss cologne
Shave 4 ・ 64 g left

I have an empty wooden bowl that once held a solid puck of Eucris, along with a tube of the same soap. The thing is, I’ve developed a prejudice against tubes. While they are convenient for traveling, I prefer a more elegant presentation around my shack. So this morning I transferred the tube’s entire contents into the wooden bowl. The stuff is precious, so I carefully slit opened the tube, scraped its sides, and added every bit to the bowl. Now I possess a wooden Eucris bowl filled with luxurious Eucris cream that offers a delightful scent that's really so much better than the hard soap. The only challenge is that the cream tends to soak into the wood quickly, necessitating prompt use. In light of this, expect to see a lot of Eucris posts in the coming weeks. MarkB, can I get an amen?

Fine arguably does dupes as well as anyone in the biz.  Their decision to no longer make the stellar hard pucks was a sad day for me.  Today was yet another disappointing try with Fine’s Italian Citrus soft soap replacement and although the soap smells fantastic, the lather is utterly lacking in both slickness and cushion.  I may as well been shaving with water which luckily I could get away with.  I’ve tried this soap with boar, badger, and synthetic, well watered and Saharan, heavily and lightly loaded and always the same result.  Perhaps it’s my rock hard water?  At any rate, I finished with a splash of Italian Citrus aftershave and was smiling again.  Life is too short and options too good to do any more fiddling with this jar anymore.

What they said. "Made with real oils of Frankincense and Myrhh, this smells exactly like a Catholic church on a sunday morning. If you like resinous incense fragrances, this is the one for you."
