Straight out of the tub this smells a lot like Terre d’Hermès. Lots of grapefruit and cedar. It's nice, but not truly outstanding. Give it a minute, though, and something wonderful happens as you build your lather. A great cloud of tree moss wells up, giving this fragrance unexpected ballast. It smells fantastic and gives me a wonderful shave. Whiterook, I see now why this cream is a weekly favorite.

I could never describe it so eloquently! I fear my olfactory pales in comparison to yours, in any case. I just soak it all in and enjoy the aromatherapy.

Well now!  Why struggle with a soap if you have Sir Henrys at hand?  This is one of my favorite soaps and sandalwoods and it always amazes me how quick to lather, how slick to use, and how nice the scent is.  So Tabac-ish.  Dom, I know this has to be one of your top sellers.  Is it number one?

Art of Shaving - Ocean Kelp cream

Fifteen months since I used this cream! Wrong, just wrong.
Dave, I pulled out the Rockwell 6S and used the 5/6 plate, both sides. Smooth prescription.

Smokiest day of the year, by far. Not bad! ...Especially since it was from a prescribed burn, not a wildfire.

Nice on the 6S and that pic, smokey as you say it may be, is still GORGEOUS
