I've been traveling since last Tuesday and am finally getting settled back in.  Almost lost that Schick injector to TSA on my flight out but, thankfully, she said it was ok

Nice reminder that I need to pull out one of my Rockwell razors. Was a significant improvement over everything I had used prior, primarily Merkur and EJ.

Scraper! Not many boys use the old Jeeves!  The Turkish Bath is a favorite of mine.

There was a guy over at TSD that sent a bunch of us sample pucks of Jeeves. Good stuff. I dragged my feet and never picked up any more Jeeves while he was still operating.

They aren't glamorous but definitely get the job done smooth and effortlessly. I love my 6S, thanks

Nice pull from the past! I have two Jeeves soaps left and contemplated piffing them. No I’m rethinking that.

Good tallow stuff. The soap maker was based here in the KC area. Let him years ago at a meetup. Bummer he folded the tent.

Apsley Shaving Cream (Truefitt & Hill) Terre d’Hermès
Shave 3 ・ 168 g left

Straight out of the tub this smells a lot like Terre d’Hermès. Lots of grapefruit and cedar. It's nice, but not truly outstanding. Give it a minute, though, and something wonderful happens as you build your lather. A great cloud of tree moss wells up, giving this fragrance unexpected ballast. It smells fantastic and gives me a wonderful shave. Whiterook, I see now why this cream is a weekly favorite.
