Overall, I was really happy with this one.  Then I went downstairs to kiss my wife goodbye.  As soon as I got close enough, I could see it in her eyes and knew what was coming.  A quick peck and she immediately pulled away.  "you know how much i HATE synthetic roses!"  "But, honey, I bought the product and need to use it up."  "Show me which one it is and i'll take care of it for you!"  Now as I sit here in my office, I have to wonder whether the den will still be intact when I get home or the shelves will have been raided for any and all Rose scents.  Sorry TommyCarioca but this may be my last Thu"Rose"day shave Sad

If it makes you feel any better, my wife also hates the B&M Figarose that I used today. She says it smells like bug spray. The Chatillon Lux YRP you used...yep, she hates that one too. Most of the time there's seldom a comment on scents that I use. She's vocal about those two.

That YRP is an alltime great soap - she's a tough critic! Haha

I agree with you. It’s a masterpiece of a scent.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,747

A little break from the Wolfman to try this razor acquire by trade and then back for 1 or 2 more shaves with the Wolfman before sending it back to the generous owner that shared it with me dtownvino 1 shave with the Claymore and had a good 1st outing. The Feather Pro was sitting on the shelf and not sure the number of shaves it had on it already. It provided a really nice shave but felt the edge had fallen and so a fresh blade next use for sure. I will say that this may be......MAY BE the 6S of the AC world. Big Tank that gets the job done. More testing required but I may need to get the stand to go with it and keep it around based on just the 1st shave. I will say I got the most AMAZING lather from Mike's today. It doesn't disappoint and I'd have more if it wasn't so hard to catch a scent you want in stock. I'll just keep enjoying this one. Have a great day and great shaves Everyone !
