Someone needs to use Trumper pucks with the Ethos First Lather (unscented) and see if that does the trick.

I did. It didn't.
Put it with No. 13.

Meissner Tremonia has some of the most elite packaging in the biz.  Some of the best? Mitchell’s Wool Fat with its eclectic dish. Several hard soaps that come in wooden bowls.  A few makers that package in PETG containers like Black Tie and Ethos.  Panna Cremas ceramic box.  Yeah, there have been some doozies but Meissner’s glass jar and the sound the lid makes when screwing it back on just seems to make a statement.  This jar of Himalayan Heights doesn’t smell all that great until it finds a brush ans some water and viola, the scent blooms and I get smacked in the face with a cedar bough.  I’ve got just two Meissner soaps, this one and Warm Woods.  Dark Limes appeals to me as does Strong and Scottish but I guess not enough to pull the trigger yet.

Thanks for correcting me, I knew I had the wrong name, looking at it after.
I have a stick of it floating around too somewhere, which I'll need to dig out.
I don't have any of those bad GFT pucks any more, but I've had more than my neighborhood's share in the past and could do nothing to conjure up a nice lather. Slick as anything, to be truthful, but no protection/cushion whatsoever. Also, usually a strong waxy feeling afterwards. (Let's not forget the disappearing lather.) The crazy thing is I WANT to try again. Sick, aren't we!

Great scents…..poor performers.  Violets is excellent.

I use that jar for Dragonsbeard as an optional upgrade. It’s a great jar. Also have clear and frosted jars from Italy that are also optional and I know what you mean. There’s nothing like a good glass jar. I’d use them in a NY minute if there weren’t so many obstacles like shipping to the USA, breakage and the potential for someone getting cut.

Whispers from the Woods Lavande:

The scent reminds me of the discontinued Fine's Lavender Pour Homme (just wish I could've found that splash before shaving Smile )
